Default Nittos almost just killed my car

Man...
I noticed that Nitto DR's spin real easy when they are cold, I'm always spinning on accident when I first leave the house in the morning now that it's in the 30's when I leave for work.

This is the first time it's rained since I got my 315/35/17 Nitto 555 Drag Radials. I had just left a friends and came around a corner, rolled on the gas and the rear end came rolling up beside me and was looking in my passenger window. The nose glided by a parked car and I reeled her back in.

That kinda stuff is fun when you plan it, but it'll make ya pucker when it comes out of the blue while driving in tight quarters. [&:]

so true....! one day leaving school i gave it a little gas and i did 180 like u did.. then back the other way.. then back again, sideways 3 times, with cars parked on both sides of the road. very very scary.. i figure it must of been because i went through a puddle in the parking lot before leaving.

^^Then you are retarded....

Seriously.... The 1st poster, yeah, it happens, 2nd guy, wtf?

Stay on the gas until your noise point in a safe direction, then lay off, you should come to a halt... THe only way you could spin that many times is if you were on solid ice or you stayed on the gas like an idiot....

I wait to hear your explaination that will make more sense to me...

I was able to get her back in shape after a nice drift without over correcting. I've hung it out enough to know what's going on, but I was not expecting it, and I was supprised that it came around so fast with very little throttle.
I will be a little more cautious when it's wet out .

With a drift like that, I think I'm ready for the import scene [sm=icon_rock.gif]

Happened to me like 4 days ago. It was raining and I was shifting out of 1st and like 30 and I was getting on the interstate to go to work. My back end got away from me and I did a 360 and slid sideways while traffic was coming towards me. I managed to get back straight and everything before the traffic made it to me. Damn bald tires and slick patches of road!!!1 My new tires are already on.

It's from the movie Hero with Jet-Li. It's the scene where Flying Snow kills Broken Swords student. [8D]
