Default flooded stang wont start

well thanks to the central texas flooding my mustang fell victim to the elements. buried it in a foot of water at about 20 mph right by my house luckily. pushed it up to my house and let it sit all day yesterday with the battery disconnected. it wont crank over, just one big lug when i turn the ignition switch. what can i do to get it started again?

you might have water in the cylinder, do not try to crank it over. Water is not compressable and your enigne will throw a rod. Take out the plugs and turn it over to push all of the water out of the cylinders, you might also need some new plugs.

You also need to drain all the fluids and flush all the systems.

make sure you put a new air filter in it,or clean the one you have if it's a K&N style. if the filter's even slightly damp,it'll cause it to misfire all to hell when it sucks that moisture through.

It didn't evaporate but it will leak in to your oil.

And then what if it does leak into your oil? Just flush it? Or will I need a new block?
