Punctuation ftw [:@]

Get 4.10s. I did 3.73s in my stang, and I regretted not growin some ***** and going bigger the entire time. Otherwise u got about all the boltons (cept headers, but ud need to get another xpipe for that). Work on your suspension some. Get drag(or circuit, depending on preference) springs, shocks and struts. Im not too familiar with IRS, but im sure they have aftermarket arms to help with wheel hop (big problem in cobras).

btw, speaking of wheel hop, even with solid rear axle, i hopped horrible, but just put my LCA relocation brackets in and now the car rides and launches much more like my old mustang. roundabout way of saying "Mustangs FTW "

Cobra gear rule of thumb:

3.73 to 4.10 =daily driver
4.30 = you don't really care about mileage
4.56 = Strip car

sounds like you have a good foundation of mods...I would go 3.73s w/the gears, and look into suspension now like said above. I would've waited to get the x-pipe and just gotten longtubes and matching x or h. Maybe consider selling your x-pipe and finish your exhaust setup?

I've known, in-person, people who bought 3.73's and wished they had went higher and I know people who bought 4.10's and wished they had went lower.

I would rather go too"low" and regret not having enough performance, than going too high and regret havingtraction and more-frequent-pump-visit issues.

Over the last couple years, this has probably been one of the most touchy subjectsin th 4.6forum, so I would recommend talking to somebody in-person that has them and maybe even try to get a ride.

We don't drive these cars because we care about gas mileage, but I do agrre with finding a 4V owner that has them in. Most 4V owners are running 4.10s minimum....

get 410s at least, anything else isnt worth the money and your just gonna wish you had 410s, my buddy got 430s in his old mach 1 and he got exactly the same gas milage as the stock 355's and he started in second gear 90% of the time
