Default Why is my car shifting hard?

I put a new clutch kit in (Hay's) and added 3.3qts of Synthetic Dexron. My shifter seemed descent at first but then all the sudden it seemed very tough to get it into first at a stop light, and then I would miss 3rd gear becuz it was kinda tough! I bought a steeda quadrant and adjuster and that didn't do anything but alter my shift engagement which seems kinda high by the way, but much smoother than the stock set-up! The stock set-up would engage 1 inch off the floor and all the ways up to let off of the pedal. The new one is a little higher than halfway out until engagement starts and goes right to complete let-off of the pedal??? Is this normal? What's going on here? I can go down the road and hardly put pressure on my shifter and it will come right out of gear! I did not screw up any syncros!!!!!!!!!!

I woud get that synthetic stuff out of there. But it sounds like an clutch adjustment issue.
