I did the swap about 2 months ago, I love it, I havn't had a problem. I didn't use a tune. I would suggest a custom dyno tune, it's about the same amount of money and you know what your getting.

If it is your DD, you are fine to just put around, the change happens really 3000+ RPM, and is a HUGE change 4000+ RPM, so do NOT take it up there with a stock NPI tune. Save up that cash, and do it right. Having to do a full bottom end rebuild due to a burnt cylinder or a thrown rod is a LOT more expensive than a dyno tune.
