Default 4.10's and Nitrous

How is it? Too much gear for the juice? 4.10's and 4.30's are practically the same so i thought i'd ask since me and that other dude are the only ones with 4.30's.

I've ran 11.55 @ 118 with a 150 shot , all stock longblock, 4.10's and 26" tires (M/T drag radials) so they perform quite well I think. My rev-limiter has been raised to 6500 altho I am at ~6200 in the traps. [8D]With 4.30's a taller tire will be necessary......unless you have a 4-valve.

I have a 3.73 gear sitting in the floor ready to install in my car, should I send it back and get a 4.10 or deeper? Let me know what you think

Yeah thats what i figured. Especially with the torque of the 5.4. But im not planning on getting full on drag slicks so im very limited as to what kind of tire i can get. . .

Centri blowers like a lot of gear for sure. I would think a 4.10 would be a sweet track gear for you[8D]Now if you're street racer that runs from a roll it may be different.

Do it man. Just make sure you have DR's out back. I do about half track and half street racing (not that i would street race!) So 4.30's on a cammed and ported 5.4 with a 100 shot is too much you think?

Not sure ....how high do the 5.4's like to rev? It they can go 7000 like the 4V's then I'd say go for it[8D]

5.4's dont rev high in the trucks but MMR said they love to rev in stangs. . . . With the forged and balanced crank revs shouldnt be that big of an issue . . . but if i redline at 6k that'd be no good.

I have 4.10's in the Bucket and love them. I was thinking of switching to 4.30's, but my tuner told me..no go. I am running a 28" slick.
