Ford racing or bbk shorty headers? which midpipe would you guys most recomend also

LT's have problems with emmissions correct? and i need to stay street legal, so whats a good headers and midpipe setup for staying street legal?

yes but some say even catted with lts will give you problems, anyone know for sure?

But in some state LT's dont't pass emissions. My brother has BBK shorties and likes them farely well. I personally don't recommend shorties unless you haveforced induction, as the gains really aren't worth the hassle of putting them in.

If you must though, I recommend having a 75mm throttle body and plenum. My brother put shorties on his car and it hurt the low end really bad, but pulled good when he got going some(50 mph or so). When we put on the TB/plenum it fixed the problem and ran asstrong as ever.

someones putting them on for $200 so cant really beat that, he said only cuz there shorties. so i was gonna go with bbk shorties and bbk x with cats, bad setup?

I have heard many complaints against the bbk x-pipe. Ive heard it is very raspy. I would get an MAC, UPR, Pypes,or something like those.
