Default Car won't stay running on Start-Up, Fuel Problem?

Hey all-
Immediately after I start my car, after it has set for a while, it dies. And continues doing that for some period afterward, the only way I can get it to run is by feathering the accel pedal. I just changed my fuel filter this weekend hoping that would fix the problem, but it still persists. I was wondering if there was anything else I could do to fix it. Thanks.

Man I'm having this exact same problem, and I just posted then saw this post. Idle sensor huh... sounds like it could be the problem. Thanks I'll check that out.

What did you use to clean it with... I'm having the exact same problem. Just by chance do you have a pic of the part cause I'm not sure what the part looks like.

It is bolted to the front of the upper intake. Has a 1/2 in hose coming off of it. Two bolts torqued to 89 inch pounds. Carb cleaner does wonders on it. Be careful where you shoot that cleaner cause if it gets in that solenoid it will be junk in short order. If the IAC is bad buy a Ford unit, after market are junk.
