Hello everyone! I have a 2004 Mustang V6 coupe that has a grey interior that I'm planning on trading in by the end of the year hopefully and a 1998 GT Convertible that I plan on keeping forever. The GT also has a grey interior and I'm making everything look like new the way I want it. The airbag is old, dirty scratched, you name it. I took it out. I wanna know if anyone knows whether or not a 2004 Mustang airbag will work the same in a 1998 Mustang. The connectors all seem to fit, of course, I just don't know if there's anything technical I should be aware of or if they're just all the same throughout '94-'04. I'd also like to know if it would be better or easier to just remove the faceplate off just for the cosmetic look and how I can do that because I'm baffled.
