For any of you that bought the ford racing 4.10's.... How much did you spend on gears and installation? What about the same gear inMotives? I think I'd like that to be next mod

well i looked at american muscle. FRPP-$240 Motive-$160. Is there that much difference in product?

i race my car on the weekends and right now i have 3.55 gears in mine...i also have to go to work on weekdays and have to use interstate to go to work....but at the same time i plan on supercharging the mustang at the end of this year. what would yall recommend for that... 3.90's or 4.10's ive had people tell me get both.... my buddy has a set of 3.90's and he has a lot of work done to his...i get him off the line and 2nd but his 3rd and 4th pull way harder than mine...and his is auto mines standard. what about 4.10's would it pull harder than 3.90's in both gears, all gears, or what gears?

If your going to put a blower on the car, I would probably go 3.73, maybe 3.90s... your goin to be running a lot of power and you dont want to go through your gears TO fast, because that can happen... I would stay in the 3.xx's... the 3.55 with the blower if you have something like nitrous, wouldn't be bad... most of the Cobra owners that are running 400+rwhp, dont really touch gears... because the 3.55 are good with the power...

That all depends on if you can catch some traction with them, I know I can't. I'm crossing the line towards the top of 4th gear though, just FYI.
