96-98 cobra owners....JLT CAI question
Hey guys, im planning on gettin the JLT CAI but is say that you have to relocate the smog pump! This seems kinda shady and the instructions make it seem as though only one bolt will be holding it in place afterwards. Does anyone have this product and like or dislike it. How much of a PITA was the install and would you recommend it. Thanks in advance!

RE: 96-98 cobra owners....JLT CAI question
I have it and it was definitely worth it.
Yes you have to move the smog pump. Yes one bolt will be holding it in but its very well secured. Its nothing major you just have to rotate it forward.
The install wasnt the hardest thing in the world but also wasnt the easiest.
I had the JLT CAI on my car and went back to the stock tube for a little and it felt like a pile of **** on the top end. The JLT definitely helps these cars breath alot better with the larger pipe.
