Default Shorter Struts and Shocks???

Do they make shorter struts and shocks for the 99-04 GTs? I thought I read somewhere that people were using fox body struts and shocks on lowered 99-04 GTs. Are the fox body struts a shorter strut than the 99-04 GTs?

I believe this was in the 5 mods to a 12 sec GT. The author used lakewood fox-body specific struts with cut springs because the foxbody struts are 1-1.5 inches shorter than the stocker GT struts making it useful for this application.

All my suspension parts are coming from www.stangsuspension.com
I would rather spend the extra $$$ on quality parts. But yeah, you can get by with fox 4cyl shocks and struts.
