it goes on the iac... not sure exactly what it is... maybe something likea filter to keep oil out of the intake? i have one as well.

I'm stupid, What is the iac? See I am getting oil into my inlet tube going to the s/c and the oil is coming from that hose that is connected to that little black box and my intake. I seen ina mag that they had taken that hose off that is connected to my intake and that little black box and they put a little k&n breather filteron the intake, and I was thinking about doing that, but I was wanting to know what that little black box was first.

i have seen that as well... but the problem is with the IAC the car wont idle right if its gone. it would be from the valve covers that the oil is being sucked in, i am getting the same.. just think of it as extra lubrication. lol.... if you put a filter on like the little ones for valve covers, it wont idle right because it will be sucking in unfiltered air at idle because its not passing through the maf

but the iac is an air control valve. it opens up when the throttle body closes to keep the car idling. what alot of cars have problems with dying is this valve is stuck and doesnt open so the car dies. but it doesnt connect to anything oil to my knowledge. i think something like an oil seperator on the valve cover lines would fix that problem.

I have a oil seperator on the drivers side valve cover, but I dont have one on the passenger side. I took my inlet tube off and looked into the hose that is connected to that little black box and I saw oil in it. But I guess it was the oil from the other hose that is connected to the valve cover going into that hose with the little box, (do you think?) Can I put a little valve breather on the passenger side valve cover? If so, I dont believe it will fit because my t/b is in the way, so I was wondering if I could get a clamp on valve breather and clamp it on the hose that comes from the valve cover, (since it will not fit directly in the valve cover)and plug the hoe in the inlet tube. Let me know if none of this makes since

why not put another oil seperater in there... i here that was a big problem on 03 04 cobras because of something with the supercharger... i had an oil seperator on my old 97 gt for the same reason, and im going to put it on my new one
