they are limited stock at 5800 i believe... you can raise it though to 6000 if you want. dont go much above that... i have had the stock shortblock just shy of 7000 and had a rev limiter at 6500

well i think the revlimiter is at 6250 to be exact but im told to hit ir is no big deal......i dont know if that is true but my car is prutty quick and i hit it more like once a month now.....that sucks huh im a little older and alittle fatter and slower that you young bucks so be carful......anyways the power band is around 2500 thourough 4000 so dont over reve it because it is not worth it..............also, cobra mustangs can reve higher so watch out......hate to see a rod thoughn........................................... ..

i've set mine at 6100 (rev limiter)...never went near that while in gear. My redline is at 5800
one time last week i was a little annoyed and revved the motor a few times...just some quick pumps, but i was shocked when the tach went past 7k...scared the **** out of me, thought i may have ****ed something, but so far so good and i have been up to 5800 since then, no problems (hope it stays that way)

Your car redlines at 5800 and fuel cutoff is at 6000. On a stock 2V there is nothing going on past 5500 rpms and most shift right around there.
