pretty much you will need a whole new block. not quite but a 2 ta 4 swap on a 2v block isnt fun. if you want a 4v buy a cobra. otherwise you'll need.

A new motor basically.
new wiring harness
i cant remember if our trannys bolt up to a 4v block or not
new ecu
a hell of alot of time money and patience

You dont need a new block. They are the same castings. Only difference is is the 03-04 block has 4 bolt mains and all other cobra blocks are aluminum.
You will need heads, cams, timing componets, intake, timing cover, ecu, and a few minor things. It will cost alot.

I know you dont need a whole new block. which is why i said not quite.
but you might as well buy a cobra motor and drop it in. as opposed to doin it all to your own block. i cant see it costin a whole lot more. And it'll definitely be easier then screwin with all the timing chain crap and so on.
Ford sells the 03 cobra motor without the blower or the accessories(alternator, A/C, etc) for 3000 dollars

You don't need an ECU either, just get a tune instead. It'll run you about the same anyway (if you buy a new ECU) and will net more power.

getting an ecu won't require a tune, without getting one will, so it will really cost you bout the same cause either you need to pay for tune or ecu
