Default LTs giving me hell

i have a 99 gt auto and im trying to install mac Lt but the o2 sen hits the linkage and i cant shift through all the gears. has anyone had this problem do inedd to get aftermkt o2 sen

I installed MACs on my auto also and it barely grazes it when going into reverse. Try and force (minor bending) the long tube away from the tranny. I had to do that to the passengers side since the tranny was to close and couldnt screw in the sensor.

my longtubes(MAC) were hitting on my starter. We just heated the spot up on the header with a torchand put a littledingin it to clear.

these fu***n mac Lt are bull**** i fell like if i buy 400 dollars on an upgrade i feel the sh.t sould bolt up correctly. did these asses start making lts yesterday i did all this research about lts and nobody ever say the sh.t doesnt fit correctly. fu>k mac i still have the tranny linkage hitting o2 sensor tried to bend only succeded in bendind my floor board

that's a common problem from what I have read here. Most have to dent or bend them to make them fit, but I agree, you spend that much $$$$ and it should fit right.

I have Mac's and I had no problem with the install. Of course I don't have an Auto, but my Macs went on without a problem.

i finally got the Lts on and the engine in my ride but i had to bend the header a little and bend my o2 sen just so it will shift but i put too much fluid in the tranny and i think i burnd out the 3rd gear. i wish there was a how to do a rebuild on a tranny.
