3.90 or 4.10???
I have a 2001 mustang gt 5 speed. I have 3.73 in it right now and im not happy at all. I want wake my mustang up and give it more pop off the line. I dont want to be sitting at 4000 rpm cruzin at 70 or 75 on highway so which gears would be the best. I have my mods listed on the bottom solet me know what to get. I also would like to know what website as well as what brand is the best to get.

+1 on why the 42lb injectors? Unless you forgot to list your blower then there is no need to have bigger injectors, you're just screwing your F/A ratio unless you have had a dyno tune. If you have 3.73's now you really won't notice a differance if you go with the 3.90's so 4.10's would be what you are looking for. FRPP's or Motives are good, I have the Motive gears in my car andhaven't hada problem with them, I really have no idea why some people hate them.

If you're looking to get a blower, then 4.10's wont be high enough.
you will absolutly notice the difference in gear between 3.90 and 3.73.... I personally think the 4.10 is a useless gear. if the 3.73 isn't enough for you, and you don't think the 3.90 will be, get a 4.30. If youplan on a blower in the future, don't touch the gear.
I have driven cars with all the different gears in them. For the record... 5.0 doesn't make gears (that I know of, never heard that before)... Motive, FRPP and Richmond. Motive makes Ford gears anyway, and the SCT Xcal2 is available to make the speedo calibration.
