clutch when out on my 98 mustang help ?
I was taking off of the stop sighn and in 1st gear then i shift to 2nd and i pick up my rpm's to like 4k and i try to shift it to 3rd when my gear box would not open and i would put my clutch in and out and it was like if i didnt have a clutch so i had to drive it all the way home with out a clutch.... so i pretty much consider i need a new clutch what brand or what clutch do you guys recommend its all stock but i plan on modding tha car a lil bit daily driver....

If your shift fork moves than your cable is fine. As for your clutch not disenguaging, it could be anything from clutch, throwout bearing, or trans itself. You have to get under and take a better look.

If the clutch is going out it WILL pull! But not without some trouble og getting it in gear and slipping while in gear, eventually it wont go anywhere... it is probably your clutch, could be the tranny, but I say clutch!

damn!!! drop'd my tranny 2day and my clutch brake was gone i just hope i can resurface my flywheel because it look'd pretty bad in my opinio...lol im just gona put a stock replacement for now since i dont have enough for the centerforce that i wanted...lol plus im still runing stock except for a few bolt-on's
