as far as i knew my car was stock. other than the 3.55 gears, flowmaster exhaust and x-pipes. but my freind has a cold air intake, exhaust 3.90 gears and a ****load of internals. and the previous owner of his car had it dyno'd at about 350hp. and my car is just as fast as him. me and him has raced several times on several different occasions and neither one of us can really take the other.. at about 100 he starts to barely edge me but thats it. mines standard his is auto. i have 2000 gt his is 01 gt. what could i have possibly done to my car and how could i find out without spending a **** load of money.

ya i had a supercharged yellow mustang gt i think 00-02 and he only put 3-4 on me. he said he had about 400. i got a nice jump on him being automatic and all. but people looked at me like i was dumb ass hell when i said i kept up with him with just the miniscul amount of mods.

350 WHP in a n/a 4.6L is insanely nasty sounding. Unless you can instantly (and I mean instantly, like your girlfriend can tell the difference as soon as he starts it) tell it has a set of cams etc etc he's just full of ****. Its going to have a crazy lope, no low end torque etc etc... its unmistakable.

More than likely both cars are just basically stock and he is either bull****ing you about his mods or the person he bought it from is. Even with a crapton of wheelspin since his is an auto he should simply leave you in the dust.

There isn't anything not obvious that could be done to your car to keep up with a 350+ WHP (or even flywheel) one. Being an auto, all he has to do to race is floor the car. Unless you are somehow turning on a nitrous bottle or have an invisible blower his car simply doesn't have the power he thinks it does.

i have videos of him racing mustangs with 4.10 gears and ****loads of other mods and him beating them... i know im not camming. but my freind wouldnt lie to me about **** like this. i dont know, what would a 350 hp mustang run in 1/8th mile.?

If u can stay with in a car lenth ofa bolt on 98-02 camaro then yours has a lot done to itor a lot more then u say it does
