Default T5 for a 4.6 DOHC
I have a brand new T5-Z from Ford Racing. I have bought a new 4.6 DOHC Mark VIII. Ihave had some people say that this transmission will not fit this engine. Summit racing says it will fit"no problem". Do I need a special adapter orjust a bellhousing from a 4.6?Please let me know. Thank you.

T5 wont fit that engine directly and I have yet to see a bell housing that is made to fit that trans to that engine. Maybe call or emaila couple of the aftermarket companys that make bell housings and see if they know anything.

T-5z sucks,just go with the 3650 or T-56.

it will work with a new bellhousing for that motor but unless its a built T5 go with a T56 it will handle more power
