Default PI Swaped, 2nd Temp Sensor

When I swaped in the PI motor I placed my second temp sensor inline with my heater core. Now that I've been driving it more I've noticed she's running a little hot. Is there a better place? For the best reading should it be in the front of the manifold? Can I tap a plastic intake?

thanks
Mike

Yes, you can tap the plastic intake. If you have the metal crossover, I heard that you can swap them between the NPI and PI but I dont know how credible that is.

You got pics of where you tapped it at??
You could also tap right on top of the t-stat housing..
This is actually what scarface did over at sn95forums.. so if you want more info, pm him over there.

no, no pics but it's next to the firewall inline with the heater core.

Ive got the aluminum one off my NPI intake but I dont see how you can swap them. Saw off the Plastic one?? I'm guessing you had the aluminum piece on both intakes?
