P.I....Over rated. Who cares

P.I....Over rated. Who cares
It seems like there is always this constant thread or post on the internet or conversation with fellow motor heads about the p.i swap in the 96-98 GT's. Well F#@$ that...... I raced a Brand new NA Saleen last week, And a **** ton of P.I mustangs. I beat a 2002 GT with 4 big *** guys in my 98 squeezing a 50 shot, I beat a modded 2000 GT with no juice,and I always rape stock P.I. cars. I will say though i sprayed on the Saleen and only won by about a hood but i still won. If your going to put new heads and intake on your car don't get some busted to **** heads from the junkyard just go buy some good heads. **** on P.I who cares about it if you want big numbers get boost, If you want to beat up on other mustangs get some bolt ons,gears,and a short throw. And that's all i got to say about that.

lol. Yea, 50 hp is WAYYY overrated????????
Your car, without the juice, probably isnt even up to where a stock PI car is in HP. You may have beaten some, but you just beat the drivers.
dont forget, you started out with 180rwhp.

Id imagine a 96-98 with 3.73's is close to a 99+ with stock gears. Your car with PI parts would be faster than it is now....your gears are making you competitive. Race a PI with 3.73 or lower gears and similar mods then repost

wow... what a worthless thread.... how does it feel that you got that out? i guess dynos are wrong when they run your car after a pi swap... and who here even said anything about a big gane from the heads???? i believe it was more of a gain on the intake so good job on your worthless post which should get deleted cause your a *******

LOL!!!! Heres the skinny:
If I come across a PI GT, I usually look for a race, and if I hear a whine, I kick myself and just resign myself to the fact that I will have a great vantage point to admire the exhaust note.
If I come across a nPI GT and hear that same whine, I just kinda laugh and wait for the horribly disappointed look on the driver after his nPI SC fell to a stock car.
the PI swap isnt just good in itself, but as crappy as any 2v heads are, the nPIs really dont let u do ANYTHING with the car. guys with SC running through nPI heads are still <300rwhp many times. the PI swap is essential if u want to get a respectible car.
