I took mine off and cleaned it yesterday. If it looks identical to the old IAC, then I would assume its just plug in the hose and the electronic pluggy, and screw in the 8mm screws. Make sure the gasket is in place though, and don't overtighten the screws because yesterday I tightened one so much that it snapped and now I got the head of the screw in my palm while the rest is screwed in already.[:@]

I also just ordered an Iac valve which I'm hoping will resolve my rough idling problem. My car idles down to about 600-700 rpms when in drive an feels like it wants to stall and my foot is on the brake. The car also kind of shakes a little. When in park it maintains an idle of around 800-900. I know these idles seem normal, but I set the drive idle at 1060 rpms. The weird thing is that the car has never stalled yet or thrown a cel.

Lsu, you are going to have to get the whole thing. It is the valve inside the iac itself that is sticking. I bought mine from autozone for like $65, you may want to think about returning it or seeing if oreillys will price match. It is VERY simple, only two screws. Just make sure to install the new gasket correctly and dont overtorque the bolts.
