stage 1 in Cali??????
Like the song goes... I'm goin back to cali, cali! Anyways
I'm moving back home to Cali and I want to know if Stage 1 cams with a dyno switch tune will pass smog?? I moved to WhiteTrash land AKA Michigan and the moment I got here I took off my cats and got a tune. With that stuff replaced and a flip tune for testing only, can I pass smog?

I moved form CA to Oregon, the land of meath and ID theaft. this is the most *** back state I have ever lived in. but to the point. I was told by a cop that it's a 5,000 dollar fine for each cat removed so on your car if they did an inspeciton that wold be at least 20K in fines. I don't have smog here so I can run what I wan't. but DAM this state is poor.

I wouldnt worry about the cams as much as the other parts if they aren't C.A.R.B. approved. If the smog station peeps are being a**h*l*s they will fail you on visual inspection alone. Goodluck my friend, Hippy California Smog Faeries FTL.

this is why i would never move to cali... i couldnt stand having small cams and cats on my car again. i dont think i have many c.a.r.b parts at all.. maybe the vortech at most?

dang that sucks dude, and i think i have it rough in texas having to have cats, lol stupid rules and regulations, dont they know where all gonna move to the moon one day n e ways [8D]

I am planning on having the catted x-pipe and stock intake tubing & tb in storage until the 3 year smog checks. Truthfully I shouldn't have the car that long but I'd rather be safe than sorry plus obviously I have pass the first inspection. The Cams are really all I'm worried about.
