Default accel coils??

ive always thought the coils are really pricey... but i found accel coils are a decent price right around 200. are they much worse than like the msd's or are you just paying for the name? i have friends with accel parts and they work good. accel doesnt give a solid spark amount for their coil, does it give much less than msd's 40,000 volts?

I haven't used Accel products for years, however they were always top-notch. BTW, where are you seeing a set of Accel COPs for $200? $33.03 each w/ free shipping ($264.24) is the best price I have found...

Summit needs to advertise some things better--the best price I found with Froogle was the $33.03...In any event, I just ordered a set from Summit ($210.55), they've done me well in the past so I guess I the other $0.65 won't break the bank--if nothing else they'll look pretty...

yea, the only reason i didnt go summit is i wanted more feedback on ebay. and i was too lazy to go get my wallet out of the stang. lol.

im hoping this will fix my car as well. its either ignition or fuel. i just put new plugs in 2 days ago and didnt help. now the coils. if it doesnt work then, time for a fuel filter... or i will just get the fuel filter tomorrow as well.

I believe Code has Accel COPs on the silver one. Why don't you shoot him a PM and see how he likes them.

I expect them to work fine, and other than looking pretty under the hood that's about all I expect...

Summit is amazing, I ordered then at 4:00 am on Sunday and had 'em in my hands yesterday around noontime--they're not in yet, but I'll let you know how they work out...
