carrier gears chiped (i think its called spinder gears)
[:-]i just change my gear oil and seen half my gears are chiped in my carrier. what would cause this?only had the car 6months,but im sure the cars had a hard life.(meaning i think he ran slicks befor i got it)is that my answ

when this thing goes is it going to f-everything up?axles and?what is my best bet on fixing this in the furture? get a used one on egay for 40-100 shipped.we have an 8.8 28spline

yea if the spider gears go look out, because they will fugger some stuff up most like dismantling the carrier and making it worthless. Might want to have someone look at those before they decide to blow apart at a bad time.
