Default 315 Tires. 1 Prob. *RE-UPDATE*- Solution!

Hey guys, I got my 315/35/17's installed yesteday and I love 'em. One problem though.. The right rear tire is honestly 1/8in if not closer to my tail tipes, which happen to get kinda warm. My left rear one has over 2 inches of clearance so I have no problems there. They also clear the quad shocks on both sides without trouble. My car is bone stock suspension, and I need a solution to this before I lower it, making the gap even closer.. Any ideas for me?

Thanks,
Shawn

try playing with the way the exhaust is bolted up, loosen everything up, and then try and rotate or push the exhaust away from the tire while a friend tightens it back up

+1 Unbolt the Exhaust from the X pipe. and Turn the Catback around till it fits better.

I really don;t know if this **** is gonna work. I tried it from the clamp over the axle, and the further I move it from the tire, the closer it will get to my gas tank.. I don't fcking understand why theres an additional 2+ inches of clearance on the other side of the car.

I know quite a few folks on here run 315's without any problems.. I'm trying to find the ones that did have this problem and can think of a solution. Oh and to the previous posters, I really don't think that will work. The hangers prevent it from being rotated. I realllyyy don't want to take the Borla Stingers I payed an arm for and dump them before the axle [:'(]

I called the shop back when I got home and checked it out a bit more, and he said they strongly recommend not using spacers.. After I told him the tire size he asked for some reason if I was trying to make the tires look bigger, and I almost called him a dumass. Any ideas on spacers, anybody?

lol, I think the shop guy's second statement nullifies his first. If your tires won't stick out past your fender wells, I wouldn't be afraid of putting a pair of small HUBCENTRIC spacers on there. Be sure to get the hubcentric kind though, I've been told that tracks won't allow non hubcentric spacers.

Ehh to late for that.. they already poke out a little bit. I just need to move the fcking wheels a bit away from the tail pipes. Suggesions? Maximum Motorsports spacers? 1/2 in, 1in? Theres litearlly like no clearance as it stands.
