Default Vents switch to defrost with acceleration

This is not about my mustang but my blazer. I just got the a/c fixed in my 95' blazer. It works great but when I get on the gas after a stop light or something, the vents switch to defrost. Then when I let off they switch back. Does anyone know whats going on here.

You've got a vacuum leak or your vacuum check valve is bad. Follow the hose to your vacuum canister, I'm willing to bet it's loose.

Is that the massive ball connected to my hood?

Exactly, follow that hose that's connected to it back to the engine.

My brother had a '97 Blazer and he had the same problem. I believe the problem was actually in the A/C switch itself. I'll ask him when he gets home and PM ya.
