Gas mileage with 4.10's
For those of you that are thinking of getting 4.10's then let me tell you my findings. I have had 4.10's for the past year and I absolutely love them. Really I see no difference in everyday driving in terms of gas mileage. This last weekend I took my car down to NJ and so I decided to test my gas mileage on the highway both there and back. On the way there I had a gas mileage of 22.8 MPG, which isn't too bad. On the way back I tried to see if I drove 70MPH the whole way what the gas mileage would be. I just got back and the gas mileage was 25.014MPG. I went 300.3 miles on 12.005 gallons of gas.
So In other words for those of you that are voting against 4.10's cuz they suck on the highway, when driving the speed limit or close to it then your gas mileage is actually quite good relatively speaking. I hope this helps some of you debating on going with 4.10's in the future!

RE: Gas mileage with 4.10's
I made a trip to Indy afew weeks ago for a charity drag race event. All interstate driving with the cruise set at 78mph. After the 195 mile trip, I made 3 nitrous passes at the track and got 24.7 mpg on that tank. Now my car has lighter that stock wheels but even at that, I'm happy with my 4.10's in every way[8D]

RE: Gas mileage with 4.10's
I just drove from southwest Ohio to Emerald Isle, NC and back. I could not believe that I was getting 24.3 - 25.5 MPG and well over 300 miles per fill up. I played a bit on the way as well but ran with no A/C. Average MPH was around 73. City mileage is about 18-20.

Thing is that, here inFlorida, driving 70 on the Interstate will get you run over by a semi. We drive 70 on back roads, and only slow down to 65 on dirt roads...
