Default spark plugs and wires

since this topic came up in apost i figured we could start a thread on it....

what are some good performance plugs and wires that dont cost all the money in the world....

i saw NGK IX iradium plugs for about 6 bucks each... are they really good plugs?

also what are some good wires that dont cost a load of money..

also what difference does it make if the plug wire is 8mm or 8.8 mm or 9 mm ?

lol ALSO, how often do u need to change ignition wires? damn it all these wires i dont knwo anything about ... someone teachme

spark plug wires.... ignition wires... how often do u need to change them and what are the best performance ones to go with ,, brand and size. thanks guys

MSD plug wires or ignition wires or plugs or all 3 ... or are plug wires and igniton wires the same thing? and what size is good to use on a 99GT..

well whem looking at good plug wires it's not size be less resist in the wire..you want the lowest ohm wires you can get that doesn't interfear with your radio..as for plug and plat. plug is good..you want a plug that warms up fast is about all you can hope for...plugs in a stock engine will not increase horsepower....current to it will though

Since you have a 99+ gt you do not have spark plug wires. i have NGK plugs and they work varry well so far.

If you look, the 99+ GT's have the coil pack right on top of the plug. So you don't need wires. Just buy some new plugs. If you need them. Depends on what you've done, or are going to do to the car. Nitrous, or a blower...You need a plug thats a couple of heat ranges cooler. If it's stock, then don't really bother. Just put in what is supposed to be in there.

U should change the plug boots if u wanted too. I have 55K. I inspected mine and they looked brand new so i don't think they actully go bad.
