with already lowered cars they put the front end geometry back to how it was as if it were stock. basically it makes the car respond better to the car being lowered. i have them on mine and the car really feels good when i corner hard...etc.

Yes. Actually if your interested in knowing more about the ins and outs I would recommend Sean Hylands book on performance mustangs. It is really good information and an interesting read. He does a good job of separating "Do this because it looks nice only, it will not improve and probably deteriorate performance" and "Do this if you want better performance regarless of how it looks".
He has a few books, the one i am reading at the mo is:
