More problems
After repairing my spun bearing, i turned my boost down to 8psi to be safe, and took a nice 20 minutes drive. Until i noticed a sound from under the car everything was good. When im in drive and i slowly accelerate at the beginning of 1st gear and the beginning of second gear i hear a noise. i can best describe it as a bolt being shaken around in an aluminum jar. i got under the car nothing is loose. am i looking at a tranny problem here

RE: More problems
Did you loosen your headers/manifolds to repair the spun bearing (not sure if you removed engine or heads)? If you did or even if you didnt, it might be an exhaust leak. Take a look at this video and see if the sound is similar.....I spent 2 days lookin for a loose bolt and sounded around the tranny and it ended up being an exhaust leak at the passenger side header gasket.

yeah i took off the headers among other things, but i put new gaskets and sh*t on. i checked all the bolts, no exhaust leak and its not a loose bolt, as least not one i can get to.

RE: More problems
yeah it doesnt sound like that clip in the video. its only when i barely accelerate in first gear, or when it shifts into second and im barely accelerating. its a loud metallic sound like something is rattling in a tin can and its coming only when i put the vehicle into park or when im SLOWLY accelerating in first and second gear.

RE: More problems
I once changed a clutch on my old 88gt and after I started the car I heard a loud clanking noise........I left a damn screwdriver in the tranny bell housing, lol. Count your tools and make sure you didn't leave anything in the oil pan. I used a stethoscope (what doctors use to listen to your heart but with just the small hose at the end) to pinpoint where the noise was coming from. You can try getting a piece of metal rod or a long screwdriver and touch parts of the engine with one end and put your ear on the other end, try to narrow down the area of the noise.

RE: More problems
lol no tools missing, ive already pinpointed the noise to the transmission/driveshaft. just wondering if anybody else had this noise, and what it was. but im not missing any tools, haha.

Update:
you guys dont wanna know how, alcohol and friends involved, but i found out the noise isnt my transmission. apparantly its coming from my passenger side exhaust pipe, and echoing all the way down to my midpipe, hence why i thought it was near the driveline. no clue what it is, but im hoping its just a loose hangar.
