Default rear ends

i just built up a 2003 mach motor for my 97. the next step is the tranny and rear end what do u guys think will be best to hold lots of power. over the winter a tubro setup is coming so i need a strong tranny and rear end

Honestly if you're putting on Turbos, I would tear out the 8.8 and stick in a 9". But if not get 31 spliners with maybe a detroit locker. The tranny will be inevetable that it can only handle so much and will break again. You can however buy some out of magazines that are built for strip use up to 750ft/lbs torque for around $2200 with a core.

turbo cars are probably some of the easyest launching (and thus easyest on the drivetrain) setups out there, simply due to turbo lag and not building boost down low.

No reason to go with a 9 inch, a 31 spline 8.8 with the right guts will get it done. Plan on spending around 800-1000 bucks in parts
