hey guys....just bought an '01 GT...when im goin about 20 mph or less and get on in pretty hard, i hear a squealing that sounds like a belt as soon as i let off the throttle....im not sure if it is the belt or not, kinda sounds like it may be coming from the rear also, i cant tell....the car only has 50k on it so i dunno if the belt could go bad in that amount of time...but it only squeals when im goin slow and get on it and then let off.....any ideas??

either a belt, or a pulley getting ready to go bad. id check the belt for cracks and sh*t. you dont want to be driving and have a pulley go bye bye (happened to my sister on the freeway) ever tried to control a vehicle doing 75 with no power steering? probably a belt
