Default Tuner question

i searched but couldnt find the answer. i have read up on a few different brands most say they increase the auto trans pressure to make it shift harder wouldnt that hurt the trans or is it safe

some will say it can screw up the trans, others will say it won't.

Whatever you do, get a trans cooler before doing anything else to it.

its for my 01 f150 it has the factory trans cooler but its geting replaced with a bigger one. i have done the basic bolt ons trying to get the more power with out rebuilding it
