i made the mistake of getting bbk shorty headers a while agoand im trying to get all the power i can out of my bolt on gt....i have a slp catted x pipe so i could get the slp headers to fit the x pipe but they are around 800$ plus 450$ instal...i was thinking i could just get a pair of bbk long tubes for maby 350$ then get a o/r x pipe for around 150$ then install for 450$....its a little cheeper then getting the slp headers...good idea or wast of money?

Longtubes FTW!!!!! I love mine and wouldn't trade em for shortys if someone paid me to do it. I did the install myself, and it wasn't that hard. I have $450 Tied up in my exhaust with headers midpipe and weld-ins. If I were you, I wouldn't waste my money on Shorty's. It's either go big or go home if you're doing a bolt-on car

i know that LT are better then shortys hands down but i had the shortys put on befor i knew that haha

im running BBK ceramic coated LTs with a BBK catted mid pipe and MAC catback. sounds nice and deep
