I've noticed when the window or the top is down on my stang and i'm driving over a bridge with high walls(guard rails) or any enclosed type of place, I can hear this ticking noise coming from the car. I only hear it though when i'm going very slow. To me it sounds like its coming from my front passenger tire. I've checked for anything in my tire and there is never nothing. The sound is a pretty fast tick that reminds me of the days when I used to ride 10 speed bicycles. If anyone has a suggestion to what this might be I would sure love to know, so maybe I can get it fixed because it doesn't sound normal to me.[sm=smiley29.gif]

maybe a small exhaust leak or mafia time bomb? when I hear ticking, I usually think exhaust leak. or time bomb.

ya could be exhaust leak, i have a small leak on my pass side and it does it, or it could be head tick

+1 exhaust leak. My car ticks like that from the driver's side mid pipe until the exhaust heats up.

Does the sound kinda sound like the sound that comes from shaking a spray paint bottle because if that's the case it's just an exhaust leak. I've heard but don't quote me on this that sometimes the injectors can cause a ticking noise. Again don't quote me on that though.

mine does the same thing only it only happens when i floor it at a low rpm and it comes from the driver side anywone know what that is?

sounds like a leak. when I had a leak, it was more noticeable @ low revs.

Yep, I have the same thing, at first I though it was injectors, but its not. The slp catted-x and LM1 catback should take care of that when I order it in a few weeks.
