MAC LT headers install HELP!

i just put in my lt and you have to disconnect the steering shaft and then feed it through the header. but watch out for the tranny linkage it might hit to o2 sensor you might have to bend the lts a little.

Took me two days of pain with all kinds of **** going wrong... and I didnt know to remove kmember[&:]

finally after spending all day under the car the headers got in, have to bend a little the egr tube to get them fit in the drivers side, the passenger side was piece of cake.

the steering shaft does NOT go through the headers on Mac.... You need to disconnect it adn then bolt the headers up and then just reconnect it... I did mine about 2 months ago.

What longtubes did you buy? I dont know about next weekend because I will be fixing my car form the accident over at my buddys house, but if you can wait another week I would be willing to help.

i'm prolly just gonna have my shop do it because I don't have the time to do it myself. Would I benefit if I got anything else done like swapping the k-member or anything while this is done to save on labor costs?

If you got the cash to switch to a tubed K then do it now. Plus it will really help if you need to retighten your header bolts.
