Default why a v8 and not a v6? please read y'all

just curious , does anyone buy a v8 because they want the extra torque when going to pass somebody? or wold you buy a v8 to have the hp to race with? well as far as i concerned a v6 is plenty enough to pass anybody legally, because going over the speedlimit while passing is illegal my friends, so my guess is that everyone who bought a v8 at somepoint wanted to race their car, on a track mind u, so im interested how many of you bought your gt for racing and who bought it because it has the torque to get em through the day while driving in congested traffic?

I just like to speed up fast [8D] Fastest I've even been in my car was 70mph (posted speed limit on the interstate)

Yeah so? haha.

I got a V8 because it is fast. Fast = fun. Fun is not always legal, but still fun. I dont street race and I have yet to go to the track so I guess you could say I got it "to get em through the day"

^^^ HAHAHAHAHA

Dude... this is why:

1) Prestige: You drive an insurance minded, teenage highschool girl car... The pony car was never meant to be a slighlty underpowered commuter car...

2) Sound: Pretty self explanitory

3) Burnouts/Fishtails/etc: Ummm...It's a GT thing, you wouldn't get it

P.S. Not meant to flame, nor to say there aren't some WICKED V6 stangs out there...
