Default built auto/rear

I was just curious as to what guys upgrade to for their transmission...i drive an AODE (auto) and don't plan on doing anything to it until it craps on me, but just so i have a plan. Would you say that I should get a whole new tranny? Or just get mine rebuilt from somewhere such as BC-Automotive??

As to the rear, what would you guys suggest doing to "build up my rear end". All i have is 4.10's...

And for the tranny, I'm still unsure about just getting my current one built or do you guys go with a whole new tranny. I do plan to do a stall convertor also...

31 splines would be good for your launches on DR's. id only do a stall converter if youre lacking low end power or torque. with your setup id recommend 2500-2800, but wouldnt really go much higher than that. you could look into getting a 9 inch rear end. your tranny wont need to be built until it breaks, then you can gut that sucker.

That looks good. The Eaton Posi Is big bucks tho. Dang. I wonder if there is a cheaper alternative?
