Need help with X-pipe install
I tried installing my X-pipe today. Need help with the right side header. If you're looking at the stock X-pipe flange from underneath the car, the left side is impossible to remove. I tried for an hour and a half to get this thing off. I used all my extensions...an elbow socket and I got the socket on, but no way to get any leverage. There's a cross member in the way. I don't have access to a lift, so my car was on ramps...hardly the way to work on a car, but necessity is the mother of invention. The O2 sensors were easy, the left side was easy, just having issues with the right side. My buddy told me it was a gigantic pain in the you-know-what, but sheesh...no idea it was that tough. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Need help with X-pipe install
you need a breaker bar, no other way to do it, make sure you soak the bolts with liquid wrench or some kind of loosening lubricant, and you'll need a 7/8 wrench to get the o2's out. Also the drivers side does not need a swivel, only the passenger side.

RE: Need help with X-pipe install
I figured I'd need a breaker bar. The drivers side was going to be really simple. I got them loose pretty quick after soaking them in WD-40. I did the same for the passenger side, but I guess I need to make a trip to autozone and get a breaker bar.....Thanks for the tip. I'll probably wait for my buddy to get back from Ocean City and have him help me out. He's done a bunch of those on various Mustangs.
