I feel like an idiot for asking, but better safe than sorry. I have the mach 1000 stereo system in my car. I know U/D pulleys slow down the turning of accesory pulleys. Would it wear down my alternator faster because of all the juice from the stereo system with a U/D pulley turning the alternator slower? Thanks for the help!

Probably not. But if it does this means you could upgrade to a better alt. Im pretty sire it wont affect anything though.
