As long as your maf is after the bypass valve you can let it blow off in the air. I hooked my vacume line to the AC line that goes into the car at the fire wall where the AC lines go in at. Don't forget to change the crank and alternator pullies also with stock pullies.

going back to the I/C, use some Flitz on it. stuff you see on TV. works GREAT, by far the best metal polish ive used. blows away Never Dull, Mothers... all the big brands.
