Hey guys......I work with a girl who drives an '05 Nissan Maxima. Her boyfriend thinks that it's the fastest car EVER!!!!!!!! He wants me to race her and he always rants to everyone about how she would smoke me!!!!!!! Of course, her car is stock and so is mine with the exception that I have Flowmasters........ Should I race her? I know that her car is fast but would I stand the chance to shut her boyfriend up? Thanks!!!!!!!!

LOL wow i love my stangs more then anyone here.....if u have an automatic it will be a close race....those 05 maxima put 265 to the flywheel......just as much as the GTs.....look it up if u think im lying....flowmasters really wont make a difference

yeh they put 265 to the FW from their V6... check the torgque differences. Maximas are fast but I don't think they are as fast. Hell if people say the 350Z vs A GT is a drivers race and it puts out more Power then the Maxima. Car and Driver say the 2004 MaximaSE 3.5 blah blah blah covers the 1/4 mile in 14.7s I think you have a damn good chance if you don't
spin.

p.s. the Maxima weighs about 200 pounds more

As long as you get a good launch you will own the Maxima Go get em.

RW drive is a huge advantage over Front Wheel drive. if ur stick then u can easily take her, if u have auto then it will be closer but u will still take her. Go for it man!!!!!! [sm=smiley20.gif] make sure u post on how u did.

yah definatly put $$$ on it just make sure u get a good launch. cuz it could be very close if u dont

And if by chance she does put money on it, make sure you have someone you BOTH trust at the finish line in case its so close that there is an arguement. As long as you get a good launch and shift correctly then you should dust her off a good one.
