Default Alternator Help

After my last post, I had my alternator Tested an it was putting out 11.4v instead of 14. Im tearing out my alternator now, but how do i loosen the pulley? All my Chilton's says is to remove the pulley, but how do I losen it? I see on the lower left side of the block a thing to lift, and I removed the plastic piece in front of it via 2 bolts, but i still cant move that thing. Thanks guys.

Nevermind, got it. Thanks guys!

Also quick question for anyone that knows. Would that low voltage reading cause my stereo to sound like crap too?
