NYTMARE

How many of you have had tranny pump's go out, or have had them replaced? I have an auto and everytime it's in drive there is a whine coming from the tranny. I have let a few of the Mustang enthusiests/friends in town listen to it and tell what they thought and we have come to the conclusion its most likely the pump. I was just trying to figure out if pulling the tranny out and taking it apart was the only way to get this fixed or if there is a simpler way. And how much labor would be if I were to take it in. What other problems could cause this and/or if it could damage a lot more if i were to keep driving on it for say a couple months?
