where to tap into amp wires

where to tap into amp wires

i need to know which color wires to tap into on the amps to install a aftermarket amp on a 2000 conv. ive tried the audio section and not getting a fast redponse. thanks guys.

best thing to do is put a test light on the amp to find the hot grnd and remote

Power wire straight to the battery.....6 gauge at least. Ground wire can go to the driver side OEM ground bolt...Remote wire can be ran to the harness under the kick panel on the driver side (aftermarket radio...just run it to the blue remote wire)
