So I guess smoothing the 03/04 cobra bumper and putting it on a GT is gonna be the new thing..... [&o]
Gonna have to do something different with mine now...
At any rate, here's what it looks like:

Edit: I mixed and matched... rear bumper as above, mach 1 hood, roush stage 3 front....
It looks good, but too nondescript....

I agree, but I think it looks petty good. I would do it. How much did a shop cost to fill in the letters though?

I think that looks great... I would suggest maybe think about putting some type of badge on the left side next to the left taillight tho to fill the gap a lil. Just my opinion tho.

I'm pretty sure you can buy the cobra bumpers now with no lettering, its just smooth.

IWinULose, that's exactly what I was looking for! Haha, and my car is silver, so it's even more specific. I'm glad I didn't make anyone think I was just out to clone what I didn't buy and just be lame as all hell.

Thanks a lot for the input, definitely going with the smoothed rear (and maybe now a blacked out panel, haha.). I'll hopefully have updates on the progress of my s/c within the coming weeks!

It's a cobra when it has a 4v in it. I'm getting the rear bumper, but the "COBRA" lettering is going to be filled in and it's gonna be completely smooth
Not entirely true in my eyes. To me, a real cobra is one that was a cobra car production from the Ford factory. Anything else just imitates it. The vin number determines tell you what it really is. It could still be considered a really nice mustang... but not a cobra. Same could be said for putting all the exterior and motor pieces of a Mach I into a GT, still will never be a Mach I... but just a real nice V8 stang.
+1
