I have a 2001 Gt Convertible with a bassani x-pipe, loud mouth II cat back, 4:00 gears and a K&N CAI and would like to install a set of stage 1 cams. I have been reading many articles about how the stage 1's dont have a noticable idle difference and that is one of my concernes. Yes I want to add a little more power, but I really want the thing to sound bad*** and that is why I am asking the question. Please give me an honest opinion on this matter and where I should go to get the cams for the best price. I will be doing the work myself so I wont have to have them installed and dont plan on making many more mods in the future. Thanks for any help guys.

well since no one replied i will. i got a similar set up with alil more mods, i got the stage I comp cams, the idle is not that noticeable but its deff worth installing if you are ganna do it yourself. dont pay anyone its a ripp off for labor. i did mine and they are awsome i also got the tuner to raise my idle to like 750rpms so that the car isnt that loopy...which you want. i would suggest if you never did motor work befor the look at this site it will help you do the job.
