I was wondering when they started to put indepentent rear suspensions on Mustangs and also what year they stopped. Was independent rear only on certain types of Mustangs (GT's, Cobras, standard Mustang etc)?

Cobra only I believe... 99 and up...

yeah thats what i thought 2 I dont think 98- cobras had it, but i know that no other mustangs made by ford had indep. rear susp.

Thanks. We did not know that they only put it on the Cobras.

yep thats it for mustangs, they put them in t-birds too I belive but don't know the years
